They blew a lot of good opportunities

Stefano giving away a penalty in possession (twice) when they were right in front of the sticks and about to kick an easy field goal is unforgivable

Storm have a soft underbelly

They can have the best attack at time and blow teams off the park which they did today then Canberra weathered it and gritted away

Nope it wasn't anything. No penalty there at all, Sutton all of a sudden saw the bright lights of Magic Round and decided to make it all about himself. The two sin bins shouldn't have been anything, either. Only had to hold on 10 minutes to get reasonably (not fully) glowing reviews about the refereeing this round, but Gerald couldn't manage it.

However, the Storm lost, so it is a joyous weekend.

Both teams niggled tonight though. I thought Canberra was worse for most of the game; all elbows, knees and facials. The Storm lost their heads, and lost the game!! No surprise both coaches came out of the same system.

I’m bewildered because I only watched the last 15 minutes and just saw one of the most egregious attempts I’ve ever seen by a referee to ensure a team wins, but the thread is full of Raiders fans whinging. Sutton deadset decided the Storm weren’t allowed to play the ball.

Well yeah you missed the part where the guy who late in the game got penalised and sent to the bin for rough play in the play the ball- was warned for hitting people in face after the play the ball and told he'd go to the bin if he did it again... lucky to stay on the park the first time since it was deliberate hitting the head of an opponent which is 10 in the bin even in a tackle gone wrong.
