I assume the location of the game is dependent on Government sponsorship (which means we could prob see HBF Park get it soon) but it surprises me we haven’t had Central Coast or WIN host a game yet

Yeah I was reading that the town was loving the attention and influx of tourists into the region giving a real boost to the local economy, apparently they`ve made a real week of it throughout the town.
I love it and have been twice, hope reports that is in danger of being scrapped are off the mark, there`s not another sport in Australia that can do anything like this.
You can't be what you can't see. It doesn't mean much to me but I can understand it could mean a lot to some others.

Any other crowds from the weekend ?

Seiffert looked about 8K

Wollongong was 7022 , saw that during the telecast on the screen

I think it means a very lot to some others.
Those pre-match dances are tiny glimpses into how these people lived for thousands of years before the whole thing was turned on its` head, for better or worse, I don`t want to go down that path and it`s not the point here.

Bronco's must have 35,000+ full-season ticket members. Pre-sales for flexi memberships went onsale yesterday, and there are only a few thousand seats available.

Most games might be sold out before they go on general sale.

57000 members before Christmas
45000 ticketed , that'd be through all categories

as you say , might be nothing left for the general public for any of the 12 home games
except returns ( they are doing them surely?)

If they’ve managed the member tickets better (not holding back seats on the chance someone turns up) hopefully we see the “sold out” capacity go from 44,000 to closer to 50,000

Broncos Memberships are going gangbusters - flexi redemptions from last year are happening this week, and our Round 1 game v Penrith will probably have 4-5k seats left for the general public.

Tickets are so expensive. Level 7 behind posts restricted view are $70 for adults.

The first batch of games going on sale to the general public next Friday might sell out same day.

Out of pure boredom I've predicted Canterbury's 2026 crowd potentials.

Did something similar last year and predicted we would get 30k average.

Don't think we will this year.

Dogs 2026

1. Dargons - Allegiant Stadium - 30-40k

4. Knights Sat 3pm Accor - 20-25k (1st game in Sydney for 2026) (24k Sunday 6pm 2025)

6. Panthers Thu 8pm Accor - 15-20k (23k Thu 8pm in 25, Panthers resting whole squad)

9. Cowboys Fri 6pm Accor - 15-20k (32k Sat 5.30pm 2024 with huge bandwagon support before finals)

12. Storm Fri 8pm Accor - 20-25k (haven't played Melbourne at home since COVID 2021)

14. Eels Mon 4pm Accor - 50-70k (59k Mon 4pm 2025, Depends on form, hype, push to break our 65k record from previous year)

16. Manly Sat 7.30pm Accor - 20-25k (25k Sun 2pm at Allianz 2025, 35k Fri 6pm Accor 2024 with finals hype and bandwagon)

19. Canberra Sat 5.30pm Accor 20-25k (Haven't played Canberra in Sydney since 2019 7k)

20. Tigers Sat 7.30pm Accor 25-30k (17k Sat 3pm 2024, Galvin factor should give some hype)

21. Wahs Sat 5.30 pm Accor 25-35k (25k Sat 7.30pm 2025 in one of the wettest games of the year)

24. Souths Fri 8pm Accor 25-45k (65k Fri 4pm 2025, Easter show factor and unbeaten run for dogs, too late in the season. Both teams in form pushing for top placings could be even higher)

27. Broncos Thu 8pm Accor 20-30k (25k Fri 8pm v a depleted Broncos)

Purely based on Canterbury having a similar season to the last 2 years in good form.

Minus the Allegiant game 11 games at Accor

Low range average 23k
High range average 32k
I think we will finish around 28k average, 2nd to Broncos. Right promotion of a few games could edge that 30k mark again.
