Where will the Tigers finish: 7th, tight race and we could still come 9th heading into the last game.

Player of the year: Luai

Top Try Scorer: Turuva

Rookie of the year: Makasini, if ineligible then Ethan Roberts

Breakout Player: Probably KPP

Who debuts: Roberts, Andrews, Geyer, Afoa, KPP, Haywood

Any players in Origin: Nope

Disappointment of the year: Toa

Who will be our halves pairing at the end of the year: Fainu Luai (Doeuhii to lock)

Will Benji be deemed a success: Yes

Other random prediction: plans for a Lidcombe Oval upgrade and moving all Leichhardt games to it will be proposed.

General NRL
Premiers: Broncos repeat
Runners Up: Parramatta
Wooden Spooners: Manly
Do Dogs play finals: No
Dally M: Walsh
Other random prediction: a really weird year where lots of the top teams go slightly backwards (but not hugely), which creates opportunities for us and others. The DCE to the Roosters doesn't super take off but they have the talent to stay in the 8. Losing Fogerty hurts the Raiders who battle us for a spot in the 8. Sharks don't improve but still sit on the top 4, Storm also drop off slightly, for a finish between 4th and 6th. Manly go off a cliff. Parra are the one team that takes a leap as Pezet really works and their youngsters go well.

Table is something like:

Broncos
Sharks
Eels
Dolphins
Storm
Roosters
Tigers
Warriors
Raiders
Dogs
Dragons
Rabbitohs
Titans
Knights
Cowboys
Manly

Now I am being too optimistic and possibly you shuffle the Tigers down to near the Rabbitohs....

I can't even find it, I'm sure Vic did one last year??
It’s under “prediction 2” for the bullet point predictions for ‘25 ..because tm had the general “prediction 25” thread sewn up.. I copied and pasted vic’s bullet points from the previous year for it..Ofcourse therefore you were far too precious to be involved with it

A massive fall from grace from the Panthers, didn’t even make the list.

You started the confusion. Tm thought he was doing the right thing by creating some interest in a quiet forum by creating a 2026 prediction thread.
You got frustrated half way through and actually blamed me for not following Vic's format even though I didn't create the thread, big deal..... you wrote....
"I see what’s happend.. last years “predictions” thread creator was a bit more creative than this years..that explains it.. you seem to have time on your hands nutz why don’t you see what vic did last year and duplicate it..I’m sure youd think up a few new categories"

So you start up another in November thread called predictions 2 without any explanation just because you didn't like the format. Childish!

A couple of posts above you say
this...... "Ofcourse therefore you were far too precious to be involved with it"
The majority of November I was having half my bloody body put back together which most members know. Any posts that I made in November were whilst I was heavily medicated so I couldn't tell you if and when or what.
Your only hurting yourself and making a show of yourself.

@macnaz
Mate can you put all this in the trash thread, hopefully both parties, as this is once again, like many threads, being ruined.

In the meantime WA, make any further comment to me in the trash thread and I'll answer your posts only if it's not insulting. Don't compound this rubbish.

Childish …yea that must have been what it was. Especially since I should have explained it to you? Not sure what needed explaining . Maybe bigger letters?? You don’t seem to need an explanation for this years though. It’s all just Tikity Booo this year..in fact “what happend last year vic!!! I want to know more more more!!!.. “
Kirk to Spock beam this one out!

Good call except I’d swap Luai for AD

Thanks @Vic Mackey for the cheer and I can tell everybody is brimming with optimism, but:

IMG_1319.jpeg

I’m not going into next season with any expectations finishing above 11th.

This is because our footy department simply don’t know how to optimise the talents of players consistently.

I hope I’m wrong, but this is how I see our side at the moment.

Turuva

Thinks way too much of himself. He can play well sometimes, but he’s sub marquee. Thinks he’s worth $900? In his dreams. Was a spoilt brat re his wife not getting a job. Hope he ficks oof.

JL
Plays footy at his best …only when he really wants to. He's not the player we expected and he owes us a refund. He’s being called a dud behind his back. Time and patience are wearing thin.

The Pack

Played at 80% as a unit. Don’t blame me, this was Benjis assessment.

Generally soft with the odd go.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

Sam and Pole look done. Alex has lost his drive. Kpp is needed for his attitude as much as his game. Hopefully Royce stops at his 10th iced donut next year.

Api is totally spent physically. Gone, nil, zero. Nothing left…

to be continued…
