Kativerata and McKinnon replace Moi Moi and Smith if the jersey launch is anything to go by

JT said that the players at the jersey launch were the top 25 with Grothe, Hopkins & Thorman absent.

Graham was there but only for autographs at the end of the launch as he is still in a full leg cast.

OOps for got about Wise and wade. I would of liked Smith to be their so he could learn abit more from the older guys.

I can see Smith and Thorman having a good combo in 1st div as half and 5/8.

Just because the players arn't in the top 25 doesn't mean they won't get into the 1st grade team the top 25 named for NRL purposes is salary based only.

So just because Smith or Moi Moi make less then McKinnon or Stapleton (just picking two names at random) doesn't mean that Moi Moi or Smith won't get picked first.

Look at Michael Witt, Chris Armit, Nathan McMillan and Kylie Leualai last year.

You can have more in a full time sqaud aswell as long as they can get by of 20,000-40,000 a year.

I would not be surprised at all to see the likes of Smith, Hinchcliffe, McMillan, Gruska and Pai given shots in the top grade in 2004 despite not being omn that list and just as another player not mentioned yet as proof that the "top 25" means little

James Webster.
