snicko is not allowed to be used to review because it is not accurate. You cant take anything from that. The evidence the umpire had (no noise, no hotspot) had to mean not out, or else no alleged nick could ever be challenged.

The lbw against rodgers though was just criminally bad. Umpires completely f**king us.
Lol there was a clear noise and a minute hot spot. Can't overturn!

Snicko showed he was out stop sooking. And I thought we whinged a lot.

We're going to send a "HOW TO BAT" dvd to Aussie junior cricket sides so we can have a competitive Ashes in the future as winning so easily gets boring
You must not have watched cricket from 89-05 Jizzmop. Remember 06-07 5 zip. Probably only started watching cricket the last few years.

Finally some common sense. Good on ya.

We've had the rub of the green with the DRS so far but no way can you overturn that. A slight mark on hot spot, clear audio and now snicko totally confirms it.

How biased are you clowns??

I'm amazed you were able to tear yourself away from Erasmus's c**k long enough to post that.

Can someone explain the SA/ENG link to me?

I don't know a whole lot about English cricket tbh, is it just easy for them to immigrate or something?

Snicko showed nothing.

There was no hotspot.

There was no sound.

You're off your f**king head.

How bout the completely geniused LBW call on Rodgers? That was about the worst LBW I've seen since they banned home nation umpires in india

Haha skeepe. Your constant swearing and abuse is a clear sign of a very low IQ. Geez you're a very very sad, basic man.

Did some quick Watson research. Since the start of 2012 he has been out LBW 13 times in test matches, including today's effort.

5 times he accepted the decision, only once would he have been successful if he challenged.

2 times he was given not out and then the decision was overturned by the opposition captain reviewing.

6 times he has challenged the decision for a 0/6 success rate.

Look at the snicko, thats the broad one, not the long one it is with bat edges. And its irrelevant because the 3rd umpire couldnt and didnt use it.

There was no sound and no hotspot.

If that doesnt overturn the umpires decision they should just not allow edges to be reviewed because its impossible to overturn anything.

Do you think I care? You have a universal reputation as the biggest whinger and most biased recluse on these boards.

I agree that snicko perspective was very contradictory to the previous shot. The fact he reviewed immediately suggested to me he was not out. He was unluvky thst there was a clear sound as the ball passed the bat. Not to mention the most faint hot spot.

I would like to see tests.

As I think if the ball travels close enough, like 1mm, it may produce a sound and a faint hot spot.

I contend it need not touch.

This is about the technology, Hughes did not look good against.

I am serious, fast enough, ball going over a hundred, bat even faster, and very close 1mm, you need not touch to generate noise nor heat. Physics.

The keeper knew it, as a touch to a human ear makes a slightly different sound.. Not a shot a England, just not convinced, in this technology, we may snag one the same, my doubt will remain.

Rather be convinced. I do like hawkeye.
