we need some bowlers to square the series up, we seem to be obsessed with all rounders who cant bat or bowl

We have an obsession with levers and toys.

Head is being rooted around, because others aren't doing their job in the middle order he has to play there while every tom dick and hilton get an opportunity to open insfead of him.

And if Pat Cummins breaks down during the ashes the selectors and pat f**king howard need to be shot. The bloke is being overused.

Agree 100% on Cummins. No f**king clue why he's there. Play Richardson and send Cutting or Abbott as backup.

Or Behrendorff if he's fit... I'd like to see him get a run

We're not short quicks who can do a job in ODI cricket. Cummins is going to be integral to our test side this summer.

If this series was against anyone but India there's no way Cummins would be there.

Also Head should be opening, Cartwright in the middle order where he belongs

exactly

I have no idea why they target Head like they have with Oozie. Lets just see if we can f**k him around and destroy his career.

He has done extremely well at opening in this form, but he gets pushed down the order here for what ? Cartright doesn't strike me ass a opener and why push him in there for an established opener ?

I was very surprised that Head was left out of the test team for the Banger's tour as I thought he had earned it. He'd make a decent middle order batsman in our test team imo.

LOL all the time we hype of our fast bowlers and say there gonna tear through England, first it was James Pattinson in England who disgraced himself, than last time around in England it was Starc,Johnson and Hazelwood who were meant to tear through England and win 5-0 against Adam Lyth and they lost and now it's apparently Pat Cummins turn to tear through England this time around.

Pat Cummins ain't doing shit in the Ashes

England 3-1

Australia is too much Australia A players. Too many project players and players who are forced to rest, don't play any crickey for months and expect them to perform straight away.

Hard to believe this is Australia's first game at Eden Gardens in nearly 14 years (last time was the TVS Cup Final), and the crowd looks a fraction of what it was that night in 2003.

Moises Henriques batting at #4 in the recent Champions Trophy takes the cake for me. Absolute joke that he got the nod over Chris Lynn and John Hastings.

Either pick specialist batsmen and bowlers if the so-called "all-rounders" are not up to standard

Matthew Wade got Kolkata belly by the looks of things, as well as several other players.

Darren Lehmann may have to start picking the team physio or random people from the crowd to field before the innings has ended. I find it extremely hard to believe the heat over there has been that unbearable compared to the conditions in Sharjah against Pakistan in 2002, where it got up to nearly 50 degrees on the field.

Time for the pampered generation to put away the Ferraris, OLED tvs and harden up.

Preeeeetty sure NCN and Richardson bowl rather a lot of overs for their state sides tbh

Dunno why these blokes are all dying, you've played 13 overs and it's only 31 degrees FFS
