That looks pretty sloppy.

Definitely not up to @SLRBRONCOS standards

Doesn't seem like much has changed.

The black caps melt like a violet crumble when they come up against us.
Usually doesn’t apply in white ball cricket (the final excepted).
Losing Conway made the chase difficult, obviously.

jesus, if I was Stead I’d be throwing everything at getting Ferguson into the shape needed for test cricket, and getting the right support in place to ensure O’Rourke and Sears are developed properly

Yeah he can't get that body right for tests.

Ferguson is 32 and only played 1 test which he broke down in.

He may have missed his chance unfortunately.

Which is a shame nothing like express pace lighting it up in tests.

The old

The old quote about waiting til both sides play in the conditions. Glad you didn’t lose your small weatherboard house betting on nz. Aussie attack nearly as good as the heat.
Our batting the last 10 overs was pathetic, NZ we’re even worse.

I give next to no shits about this, win or lose, but it doesn't bode well for the real cricket, I suppose.

That's the thing - game 1 was as good as T20 gets, and most people have forgotten...

But when they ream us in the tests, we'll remember it forever... but hey, I still remember as a kid being awestruck with Sir Richard taking 9-52 and a catch :D, and that later series with the last over to Whitney at the MCG
