Johnson really needs to bat like a proper batsman. That said no doubt that was captains instructions so we can't be too harsh. It's just Mitch never does well just swinging..

Let's just agree that they're both great batsman. I just don't think Clarke is the best player of spin in the world, or the current no.1. But as I said earlier there isn't much in it.

You're not telling the full story so you can suit your own argument.

How many tests has Amla played in England & India compared to Clarke? Half as many.

The 311 not out is worth 30 runs to the average. It's easy to say "well he averages 102 in India" when you do t say "he made two huge scores in his last 2 innings and not much else before it"

You're making Amla sound like Bradman over the space of 7 tests
