I really dont get why Wade doesn't pull those short balls, its not as though he cant, I've seen him pull short balls before

he is allowing the Kiwis to intimidate him by hitting him on the body, he really looked out of his depth today and could have got out at any time

he is lucky that De Grand Levers only bowls 110k pies that dont carry to 1st slip

I'm not his greatest fan but he really is not trying to get on top of the bowling by imitating a statue, he's not great but he is better than that

His average and conversion rate is an embarrassment to to every number 5 who has worn the baggy green.

I know Renshaw won't ever make test team again after having his papers stamped but surely is a better option at 5/6.

Yeah. Watching Renshaw bat in the T-20 game the other night it did make me wonder how Renshaw would go a little down the order.
I know T20 is made for batsmen, but that was a smart innings he played and showed he's got no shortage of scoring options.

His shiekd form has been retched of late, but in the second half I'd love to see how he'd go coming in at 5 maybe.

This is sadly reminiscent of the first test so far.

NZ have toiled admirably with the ball for not too much reward but have kept things tight. Australia have been just as patient though and are in prime position.

Unless NZ get at least 2 wickets in this first hour I see an easy victory for Australia.
