Will we square the series? I have my doubts

I reckon SOK will play for Haz, Cartwright in for Khawaja (OR Cartwright in for Wade with Handcomb keeping)

don't think Boof will do that but wouldn't be surprised either, in regards to dropping Wade

we need a specialist keeper but we really dont have one

I dont like Cartright against spin from what I have seen of him but Oozie is on another planet atm, its a matter of how much patience we have I reckon, we persisted with Wade for a long time but we are always quick to boot Oozie out, if he had more time against spin he might get a chance to improve

Uzi cops shit for his record in Asia....he's played 5 tests there. Not sure how he's supposed to demonstrate anything in 5 tests, the latest one of which came after 6 months without a game of cricket.

He probably shouldn't have been picked for the first test based on how long he's missed out for, but I also see no value in dropping him now.

totally agree 100%. Our dumbarse selectors have ruined Uzi something chronic because of their manluv for the Darsh brothers. I hope he gets the patience he deserves.

Khawaja is not our biggest problem imo

The f**king llama with the webbed gloves (who STILL f**ks up every catch or half chance) behind the stumps is our biggest issue.

I wish he'd just get a sudden bout of gastro, and f**k off.

Handscomb should keep for this test and this test only.

Gloves back to Nev for the first test of the summer, unless Pierson or Carey really show something.

thats all true

But guys like Renshaw and Handscomb are a lot more inexperienced than Khawaja but have adapted a lot better in asia, playing similar amount of tests there.

Until we get a spin friendly deck or two in Australia (wasn't one being built in Brisbane to emulate a turner) we aint gonna get a heap of batsman who succeed over there over their career, Smith aside

Smith saying Wade needs to bat better, obviously he needs to keep better too

Handscomb looked poor with the gloves when he played Odis against us, TBH I'd just play Wade this test then flush the sunny on him. Risk with that is he actually has a good test, small risk but potentially profound implications

Handscomb has been practicing with the gloves on.

I hope it's true, because the worst thing possible would be for Wade to jag an arsey fifty and lock himself if for the Ashes.

At least they're now open to dropping Wade. So some hope for the future.
Agreed on Khawaja. He needs time in the middle. Of course suicidal runouts don't help.

Would like to see pitches in Australia have their own identity. Drop in pitches have ruined us overseas.

saves us a 0-2 series whitewash and further plummet down the rankings

Personally I'd rather play it and if we lose, we lose although I believe we can win.

Without Wade we could have wont the first test.

Exactly. Who cares if we lose? The players who are there long term will learn a lot from playing over there. Short term pain for long term gain.

Wade gets unlimited lives but Uzi gets f**ked because he was easily one of our best batsmen last year before they went on tour

If we get them down, they've got to keep the foot on their throats.
We can get early breakthrough's in Asia, but aren't ruthless enough to finish the job.

Wade survives the noose again while Oozie is again the scapegoat.

These selectors are f**ked they truly are. Watch the useless little plank scape an ugly 50 and give the selectors reason to pick the spastic in the Ashes series.

How many byes do we reckon Edward Dickfingers will concede in this test?

Given the rain I think it'll only be around 18, and that people will use that to show how he's "improved" despite us bowling half the overs of the first game
