    Starts Thursday 3pm

Expecting Jadeja and Ashwin to chalk win number 26 together this test (from 34)

    https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/27790643/how-does-ashwin-jadeja-stack-kumble-harbhajan

R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are more successful as a pair than Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh were - it's a fact. After all, India have now won 25 of the 33 Tests Ashwin and Jadeja have played together as compared to just 21 out of 54 for Kumble and Harbhajan.

So, are they are just better match-winners? Or are there other explanations for the fairly large statistical gap between the two pairs? Harbhajan has himself tweeted about how pitches in India offer more spin now than before. It's also true that Kumble and he played more Tests together overseas. Then there is a difference in the quality of India's support bowling cast. And, perhaps, opposition batsmen were better against spin then than they are now.

If Bumrah and/or Kumar are fit, who would you drop?

Shami was brilliant in the second innings.

Ishant for mine, though Kumar probably no certainty, seemed to be the one who missed out in recent times, though has had injuries too

Gone are the days where India's pace bowling was their main weakness

Pity we're not hosting SA this summer. I think their bowlers would still be broken, even if it was held in January.

Watch Indian fans sick off Kholi for scoring a double hundred on a road.

Brave innings from Kholi. Sounds like treacherous conditions for batting. Total minefield.

Him and Rabada turned on each other :D

    https://www.foxsports.com.au/cricke...i/news-story/a7ba8f97c530d17aedfbe2282bb15078

And in the midst of star batsman Virat Kohli’s masterclass in Pune on Friday, tensions boiled over between two South African players.

As India piled on the runs, South African paceman Kagiso Rabada and wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock were involved in a heated on-field spat during the second Test.

After Ravindra Jadeja defended a Rabada delivery, the Proteas quick threw the ball in de Kock’s direction behind the stumps.

However de Dock wasn’t focused on Rabada’s throw, leading to a de Kock fumble and allowing Jadeja and Kohli to sneak a single.

Rabada then has a crack at de Kock, appearing to tell de Kock to look at the “f***ing ball”.

The South African keeper then responds aggressively to Rabada, pointing to his head as if to say ‘be smarter’.

At the end of Rabada’s over, de Kock is then seen having more words with Rabada, appearing to finish with: “F*** you mate.”
