Everything was great in the first half except Sloan's defence. That non-effort on Bula was poor.

Playing a power game and it’s working. Focus on our left edge. Great defence, Liddle, Eisenuth, Sua and Suli going great guns

Frank Molo is not a starter. For the first 15 mins he looked at other blokes tackle and had one hit up. His brother was better in the short time he was on.

Great sustained defence.

Suli carving them up.

Some enterprising play with ball.

Flano looks much more confident.

Sua carving up.

The Huth just looks like a pro.

Indeed it is. Best we have looked in years. Trial of course but something to cheer for sure

Great to see some different attacking shapes, and muscling up with our goal line defence.

But to be honest, they haven't really thrown much back at us. The positive is that we have lot to work with, improve on, and build upon as a squad over the coming 27 weeks of the regular season.

The single biggest difference is we have a coach not a peanut or a pig headed pensioner. Kudos to Suli, Liddle and Eisenuth and I think Fifita will be a gem.

Not sure why we spent good money on Eisenhuth to be brutally honest. There are better on the bench. As usual Bird is a waste of space.

A really good first half. Strong physical defence across the park, including defending 20 or so tackles on our line. Left hand side is going well with Flanno. Suli running hard and strong and could have had 2 tries. Sua is a gun. Eisenhuth is proving a good pick up, and the ball he got away in the tackle was a pearler. Liddel doing well in directing in the middle. Bird and Lomax have not done too much in attack.

Much better balance between left and right side attack. And who'd have thought getting early ball to a left side of Sua, Suli and Rav was a good idea.

Liddle has been great. Eisenhuth professional as always. Lomax has been a bit unlucky to have been run off the ball on a couple of kick contests - either could easily have been penalties.

The middle seems to lack a bit of impact though and Bird, although ok, looks a yard or two too slow off the mark.
