2SER PREMIER LEAGUE BIG GAME ​

The Radio 2SER Premier League Big Game Team will travel to Henson Park this Saturday afternoon for the clash between the Newtown Jets and the Penrith Panthers.

While the home side is out of finals contention for this year’s finals, they’ve struck good form of late and will be looking to finish their season with a win in front of their home fans.

They’ll also be hoping to put on a show for returning Jets star, Manfred Moore, the former Oakland Raiders NFL star who had a guest-stint with the Jets back in 1977.

Moore will be the guest of honour on Saturday, which doubles as the club’s annual reunion day game.

While Newtown will be playing for pride, there will be more at stake for the Panthers. A win against the Bluebags will all but secure them a top four finish, whereas a loss could see them lose ground to the fast-finishing North Sydney Bears.

The team will bring you all the live action from the Jets-Panthers clash, and they also have an in-depth discussion about the revamped Premier League competition for 2008.
