3-2-1 and POTY in 2024

Hi all,

Another year of the Warriors, another year of 3-2-1

After each game, there will be a 3-2-1 thread (for example: 3-2-1 v Knights). I do not have to start the thread.

Simply assign points to players (3 to the most valuable) and then I will tally the points on Tuesday afternoon (NZT). Points submitted after the tally will generally be invalid.

We'll keep a running leaderboard and at the end of the year, the winner will be announced.

Conversation within the thread is totally fine

Cheers

Excuse the incursion, but I think it is quite a positive sign for the strength and balance of our squad when the 3/2/1 allocations are changing week to week rather than the same small handful of usual suspects sharing the points. Mannering winning the POTY by a billion points was never a great sign of where the club was at (no disrespect, he was a fantastic player).

Your incursion is welcome

having your hooker, half, props and fullback as arguably your best performers is a pretty decent foundation, I reckon

Illustrates the clear gulf between the group responsible for our success, and the collection of decent-to-plod who make up the rest. We're relying on the rest to work hard and not f--k up more than give us something exceptional.

RTS is probably the exception who after 7 games you have to say has been a bit disappointing.

Montoya and Capewell say Kia Ora Whanau lol
RTS has an excuse he's being developed into a centre which takes time to learn the role.
As for the other 2 I mentioned they been playing in their positions much longer and we expect better.
