I may be outrageously biased, but I thought Egan's no-try was a try, Gagai's try was a no-try and I didn't think Tuaupiki's pass was forward. So I think the right team won.
I agree with the first two, I thought TT's pass was forward. I guess by the letter of the law, Egan's wasn't a try but in real time it was a try every day of the week - momentum took him over. And Atkins was pathetic tonight, Marzhew was held but Atkins didn't do his job, and wanted the Bunker to.
Then we had Hunt's try not looked at in any depth when KPP could have knocked on, probably because at the other end, Best didn't knock it on but the Knights had burned their challenge. AWFUL refereeing display tonight. Both ways.
That was actually a terrible game of football. We were very, very average.
We miss Barnett so much in the respect of the standards he demands of this team. We drifted through most of the game after the Egan no try with little intensity, and stole it at the end from a Hail Mary challenge and a lucky bounce from a failed field goal. Boyd must feel like the weight of the world fell off his shoulders, he would have been crucified for missing that penalty and the oh-so basic field goal
