1- Egan- not sure taking him off the park was wise, as much as we wanted to get Walsh on.

Berry made some great saves so three points.

Evans was good carting the ball up two points.

Egan one point.

3 - Harris. Agree with Meth, he's the rock of our pack
2 - Berry. Looked solid on defense. He has shade of a young Mannering about him and there is no way that's a bad thing.
1 - Egan. He was good offensively in the first half and we really missed his defense when he went off.

1 Walsh. Only got 10mins with the ball in hand and had a try, try assist and would have been another try assist if anyone but Maumalo was on the wing. Might have lost his battle with Turbo Tom but not many win, and its his 3rd game.... so i think he can be excused.

I have to ask - what am I missing with Berry? I don’t dislike the bloke and think he has tonnes of potential, but IMO he has shown very little so far. Yes, some good reads in defence but hasn’t shown much in attack at all. I hope he improves and becomes a great player but so far I haven’t seen anything to get excited about

Yes, some good reads in defence but hasn’t shown much in attack at all. I hope he improves and becomes a great player but so far I haven’t seen anything to get excited about

He probably has the same frame as CNK so theres hope for him, but i prefer my centres to have more meat on their bones ala Bradman Best.

He has brains. He is very well educated (St. Pats Silverstream). He has played a grand total of 9 games in his life. He hasn't made many mistakes for someone of his experience or been the subject of 'Try Causes' which is a stat that our centres in the past & present can't say.

Berry's intelligence and defense is what stands out so far to me. He makes the correct decisions and tries to neutralize the threat from opposition set plays. He's way ahead of his time / development for someone with only a few RL games.

I know what you mean when it comes to the attack. Berry hasn't stood out there, I place that on the halves we currently use. Walsh needs to be in there somewhere. Berry will work on his attack / timing / rhythm with more game time.
