3-2-1 v Panthers (Round 18)

On to the Round 18 2015 game against the Panthers.

For mine -

3 points: Blake Ferguson. Was dynamite on Saturday. Ran for 215 metres, made 2 line breaks and was quite spectaular in trying to catch some of Pearce's attacking kicks. Was lethal.

2 points: Mitchell Aubusson. Could have gotten the 3 points as he had a whale of a game on the right hand edge with Ferhuson. 2 try assists, 1 line break, 27 tackles, a good allround game.

1 point: Shaun Kenny-Dowall. Rounds out that right hand side which gave the Panthers fits all game long. Seems to have grown an arm and a leg this year. Quality stuff.

3 Aubs - Was in everything and would have played his way into a Blues jumper if SOO was being played next week.
2 - Fergo - Looks to be quickly regaining his lethal form.
1 - SST - This bloke has a 350 Cummins under his hood. Has the best quality work rate of a back rower I've seen in along time.

Chook.

So many players worthy of points this week. Pearce and SST both had excellent games. And the front row was brutal. But I've gotta go with the right edge:

3. SKD (how good is he going? Unbelievable!)
2. Fergo
1. Aubusson (he deserves to keep his starting spot. These three can for the most devastating right edge in the comp. All natural footballers).

3 - Fergo
2 - SKD
1 - Aubo

SST and JWH were also very strong. The numbers SST is throwing out is brilliant. 37 tackles for none missed is what stands out for me.

Fergo/SKD combo is looking real promising as well. SKiD has been one of the best wingers in the comp this year. Both rolled up the sleeves Saturday night, so many 1st and 2nd tackle hit ups coming out of our own end.

A lot of good performances, but our right edge just tore them up. So, in order:

3 - Aubs
2 - Fergo
1 - Skids

JWH and Siua also very strong.

Tell you what, I'd love to have seen Fergo take on the fullback with a couple of those 2nd half runs. Reckon he would run straight through him if he put his head down.
