Green is getting a lot of points (and from me too) but he was still generally shit for most of the game

That is not NRL level football and Henry P. gets carried away with himself. This is becoming more and more the way SK wants them to play. Boring, defense based football with no clue on attack.

At half time one of the commentators said Jazz had had 15 carries for 65 meters. Either he was wrong or Jazz had a couple of length of the field efforts in the second half.

It’s definitely wrong. He finished with 18 runs for 170m. There’s no way his last two carries amounted for 105m

I thought Green was good most of the game. Two rough kicks, one for a 20m restart, one cross field kick that went nowhere, but he was taking the line on back through the middle to try and straighten us up.

Lachlan Burr... about four times he pushed up on really good lines and was going through a gap close to the line. Sometimes we just need to break the structure a touch and see what’s in front of them.

1 Hiku...for covering up that kick near the end. He would have come from the other side of the field that showed the desperation to win that game thats often lacked in previous also his runs to get us out of trouble in last 1/2 of game.

Hiku is close to our most improved this year, easily our best centre.
Yeah had one or two horrible games but for the most part good

Ayshford again proves he's adequate not such why he's on the last resort list

Tuivasa Sheck said that taking the 2 was a coaches call. Not sure whether that's just following the trend, or to do with the weather, or the opposition...but it paid off.

Sharks kept giving us field position and penalties inside their own half, and ~15 minutes of pressure immediately previous to the kick gave up nothing. Add in the weather factor and it totally made sense.

I know we are not playing champagne football but our structures are certainly looking better.

  • Noticeable that when Burr comes on our energy lifts and opposition think because of his size running at the line.
  • Papalii for my mind is just awful. I know he has fans here but I just don't rate him. Can't believe he made the kiwis. He has energy, guess they are hoping he comes right and grows into the role.
  • Green running at the line more often is creating a lot of problems for the opposition. Yes, he is old and slow but I swear Green is the biggest reason we are getting periods of domination on teams. If you cant predict the warriors they give you all sorts of bother. Right now his old head is paying dividends for the Warriors.

I defended him earlier but I'm starting to agree with you. He needs a spell. Is only 21 or something too right? Not many kids that age come into grade and are consistent performers each week.

Might be time to spell him once Tohu is back, for his own development at least

I'd say that's almost a given (or not), but I'd also say it's time now really. Take your pick. Pulu. Sao. Hell, Ayshford if you want to. But he needs to have a break. And I like the kid.

Agree with the above, Tohu in, Papali’i to reserves. I still think he’s a long term keeper though. Just needs some adjustment, and not in first grade.
