3 - Fifita. Damaging... 190 odd meters. Massive run at the end to win it...

2 - Ennis. Tackled all night. Scored a try.

1 - Bird. Strong defence on Kata. Basically shut him down.

3 - Fifita. Immense. Great run to create the winning play
2 - Ennis. Made some quality plays. Hugely influential in keeping the energy up
1 - Lewis. Ran strongly and made some critical tackles.

3 - Fifita. Bit quiet in Origin, was just saving his best for the really important game this week.
2 - Ennis. Everywhere in defence and controlled the attack. New selfie king
1 - Bukuya. Lifted the energy when he came on and got a crucial try (well, kind of)

Bird also very good. Maloney's field-goal kicking & coolness under pressure is an important asset.

Lewis, how many 2nd rowers could play wing ? Kept calling for it, wasn't going to shirk the job.

3 Fifita. $13 to win Dally M and may be worth a sneaky bet, such is his form. Would be surprised if he didn't get the 3 points tonight, was obviously the most damaging and dominant player on the field.
2 Ennis. Had Canterbury flashbacks when he dropped the ball in front of our line, but no harm, no foul. Other than that was excellent, setting up/scoring two crucial tries.
1 Maloney. Tough bugger. Not his best game but backing up, and still made the crucial plays when it counted.

Honourable mentions to every player on the field, both sides, was a tough game played in a good spirit.

Hard to pick, Bird was the standout for me. Then probably Feef and Ennis but Loots had a great game.

The Chad, Maloney, Lewis, Graham, Barba.

We know how to win .

I'm glad we have Bird in the centres and buy of the year has to be Maloney.
I had my doubts about his defence before he arrived but the guy keeps winning us games when it matters.
Sounds rather odd but had no doubt he'd bring us home in extra time.Even when we blew the try was still confident in the Russian roulette of golden point that Maloney was the man.

HM's all 'round

Agree it's weird feeling so confident under pressure. But I reckon I could get used to it!
Can't be letting better teams get a head-start in the big games at the pointy end of the season.

Big difference in him & Robson (with due respect to him, he tried hard) - Robbo cost us the equivalent game last year whereas Maloney wins it.

I've been very confident in games this year (e.g. even when Broncos came storming back I knew we'd hold on) but last night I was very edgy with last year's outcome in mind.

yep, me too Cardy. Was waiting for the Shaun Johnson show... but thank god it never arrived. Geez the beer tasted sweet after that one!

Feefs. Best front rower in the game.
Gallen. We struggle with him off the field as did NSW. He owns black dot to black dot.
Lewis. His diversity allowed us to shuffle positions & still be solid in defense .
