3 Year Keeper League > For The TRUE Fantasy Ballerz Only!

Few things are more fun in life than a committed keeper-league fantasy game. I'm going to set one up instead of a roto/no trades league. It's the same as any other fantasy game, the only catch - you are allowed to keep two players from your roster every year. The rest get released into free agency at the end of every season. Changes the way you draft, really.

Only looking for people who think they will be around for three years (yeah, big commitment) for this league. It's infinitely more fun than a lot of other formats.

Only the first 8 teams can enter though because it get's a little chaotic in keeper leagues after that.

Ok, supposedly Yahoo Fantasy NBA is meant to relaunch in the next 24 hours. Apparently. So here's the refined way this league will work.

6-8 teams. Minimum of three seasons (likely to keep going on, and on, and on though). Each year every team keeps 2-3 players of managers choice (league vote prior to drafy). Everyone else will be released into free agency for the next draft. Yahoo is meant to be working out a lottery system whereby teams that finish last will have a higher chance of drafting first in the next draft after that season.

Getting close now. I'll pm everyone in this league the address to a different forum we'll use to police this comp. Cheers.

Count me in, most fantasy leagues i play in are long-term keeper leagues so committing for 3+ years won't be a problem.

I like the concept of a keeper league. Factoring in age, years in the league, stat trends, ect...Makes you think a little more about choosing your teams star players....

Can everyone pm me their e-mail addresses so I can get your invites out. Also, what time is everyone available to draft? Obviously, Saturday or Sunday has been the traditional draft day. Any thoughts?

I'm fine with Saturday and Sunday's. Also could possibly do Monday's and Friday's, although they would have to be in the morning's (Uni ).
