Something I just thought about..

Australia's Net Run Rate (NRR) is approximately +1.74 ahead of Sri Lanka. If Sri Lanka scores a big win against Scotland to overcome this NRR deficit, and Australa's match against Scotland is washed out, Sri Lanka will end up on equal points with Australia and have a higher NRR, hence pushing Australia to 3rd.

Weather forecast for Australia's game on Saturday doesn't look promising at the moment and hope it changes.

Sri Lanka to bat, great to see young speedster Chameera given a crack.
Kusal Perera is back too as is Kulasekara.

I wonder why they continue to never pick Ajantha Mendis.

Sri Lanka are becoming a dark horse imo - real shame they lost Chandimal - both in terms of getting closer to Aust, and generally...

But I could watch Dilshan and in particular Kumar bat all day... Dilshan probably doesn't quite get the wraps he deserves, but he's a great odi opener imo

Dilshan was impressive against the Aussies the other night.

I really enjoyed watching him and Sanga getting stuck in. I enjoy watching the Kiwis do well, but I consider Sri Lanka my "second" team.

Sangakkara becomes the first player to hit 4 ODI tons in a row. All at 37 years of age.
