Also do you think there was any gound to the theory abouy day/night games in South Africa. Where it's almost certain that if you bat first you win. Something about heavier dews at night in South Africa.

They should drop Clarke, promote Hussey and bring North in, then look at dropping a bowler for White and Hopes down to no8

SA 2/96 - 25 overs

(does this mean they automatically win by batting first?)

Top order batsmen failed
Were slow and got out as well

Haddin 15 off 34 balls
Clarke 34 off 49 balls
Ponting 20 off 35 balls
D Hussey 20 off 33 balls
M Hussye 1 off 3 balls

Total 90 runs off 154 balls

So to win the rest of the team needed 190 runs off less than 25 overs. Just not good enough.

At least Ferguson continues to shine. Maybe promote him up the order ???

Why on earth do you want to promote Dussey? Hes already in his spot of 4 and hes still failing. He gave me hope again after the first T20 but he again has failed after getting a start. He has to go, Clarke back to 4 if he can't perform he too should be gone.

When does Fergy get a go up the order?

Clarke, Ponting, M.Hussey, D.Hussey have had plenty of changes this tour up the order for not much.

If I wanted to promote Dussey I would say Dussey, I meant Mike, the bloke who used to open for his state, they need someone new opening the batting as it seems that Clarke and Haddin dont understand what is needed in the fielding restriction overs when chasing 290 to win

But of course Dussey should be dropped, lets blame him for having to slog early because the top order wasted overs without scoring runs

Dussey should be dropped because he is almost 32, played 18 matches and averaging a massive 26. And please don't mention his donkey drops as another string to his bow. 2 wickets at the impressive average of 110. Myth of the highest order. Ferguson should be batting at 4 on current form.
