Pointless Grandpa Simpson story for the day. Similar to an Ian Chappell story but with less horse blankets and there’s no John Snow.

I was at an Australia A vs Sri Lanka one day game at the WACA in 98/99 and Sri Lanka got rolled for 85ish, Australia A got them at a canter. They ended up playing a second game that was 25 overs a side and Sri Lanka scores 140ish and Australia A still ran them down in a hurry.
