No I was talking about the win at all costs culture the review exposed at an organisational level, not the specific incident in Cape Town. Could have been clearer, sorry.

Warner and Bancroft, and to a lesser but equally important degree Smith, are wholly responsible for their decision. But that decision came from a deeper and much older issue, and guys like Ponting (among others, mind you) had a huge hand in creating that culture within the Aussie cricket setup.

I'm a huge Steve Waugh fan, but I have to admit that it probably started under him, and then began to infiltrate more and more under Ponting and some of the higher level staff at that time
Whilst certainly I'd like to see Australia win within the rules, even if it's the full width of the rules.

If given the choice between a cheap victory from outright cheating or a good loss played fairly within the rules, I'd take option 2.

1000%

There is no shame in giving your best and losing to a better side, and I think the hierarchy lost sight of that at some stage.

And now we see how boring the game is when the ball isnt 'reversing'.

No idea how we're getting one wicket, let alone another 8. These duds will collapse with the bat, no matter how flat it is. Needed to win the toss to be any chance.

The Adelaide test, it sucks we lost, but it was a good game that went to the wire. Was a good win in Perth.
