Imagine:

- playing in your 100th test and potentially not getting a bowl throughout an entire innings
- being one of the best bowlers in test cricket, and potentially not getting a bowl throughout an entire innings, or
- being picked as a bowler in the team (batting at #8), and potentially not getting a bowl throughout the entire match?

I wonder how Sharma, Bumrah and Sundar are feeling right now?

Well, at least Sundar got to bowl (albeit only 4 balls).

Ellen summed it up perfectly, if I can get 5 for 8 the pitch is f**ked.
If Ellen had produced a Jim Laker, Old Trafford 1956-like performance, he wouldn't care one bit about the pitch, would be laughing all the way to the bank and make a lucrative post-cricket career in the public speaking circuit (like David Lloyd has, predominantly from talking about the incident where Jeff Thomson hit him in the groin) just regurgitating and embellishing that one story of his heroics with the ball in India.

It's a genuinely atrocious wicket, to have a Test over inside 2 days isn't acceptable surely.

But Indian fans will tell you it's no worse than preparing a green top and criticism of their unfit pitches is biased and racist
Last time we prepared a green top must've been the centenary test.

We have to give the Indians roads.

The only test where the ball did anything they were fired for 36.

Bet there were some shenanigans going on after that. Why would the gabba be prepared where it looks like a second day pitch devoid of life?

In 2012 we flogged the Indians 4 zip on some decks with a bit in them. We have delivered them roads ever since. Gutless CA decisions.

Ahh thew subtle medium fast bowling of Hilfy destroying the Indians in a couple of tests

If he was around today in his prime, would be bowling like Homer Simpson on these decks
