Revisionist history and people going out of their way just to pick the opposite view to mine.

Unlike seemingly everybody else, I actually remember what 2012 and 2013 were like up until tea on day 1 of the Brisbane test. I remember the reputations Cook, Trott, KP and co had at that point. I remember the reputations Johnson, Haddin and even Warner had at that point.

Brisbane is not comparable at all to this test. We were awful before Brisbane. Now we're the most intimidating team in the world.

Now we are the best. We should be looking to curbstomp every one that we come up against now. Back then it was different.

Not sure it's the 500 they want.

I reckon they want that difficult 30 min period at them more.

1 hour gives the batsmen a chance to get settled.

30 mins you can't really achieve anything as a batsmen .

This.

Clarke is going to unleash Michty John John and Patto on them for 30 mins. Hopefuly a few broken arms or wickets will come and they'll be shot for the afternoon session.

This is getting a little silly now, 500 is more than enough. We want to as long as possible to knock them over. Runs don't count anymore it is time.
