Rain in Hobart. Either you get a result or play South Africa in the quarters

Not sure Australia care who they play... the rest of us get twitchy about such things, but Australia just have an inherent confidence they'll do what it takes

Apparently points ties are decided on the number wins before they consider NRR.

In the case of a washout and a tie for 8 points, Sri Lanka would have 4 wins to Australia's 3, meaning they'd they'd take 2nd spot.

Aaron Finch said weeks ago before the Sri Lanka game that Australia doesn't give a fug about who they play in the finals

Really? How dumb.

Won't matter in the end, but to think Australia would be ranked lower based on washouts against Bangladesh and Scotland is pretty lol, especially with a much higher NRR and a win over Sri Lanka.

Personally I would have thought 1 loss trumps 2 losses rather than giving the advantage to the team who happens to get good weather.

Cummins just runs in and tries to bowl fast,he has no plan on where he's gonna land the ball, more often than not its utter nonsense.

Id rather have Southee or Boult in my team than this guy.

Yeah, it'd almost always only come in to play when a side has been affected by washouts, so its pretty stupid. NRR is a far more even measure.

Not necessarily... depends on which games had been rained out - if for example, for NZ or Aust if games against England, Scotland or Afghanistan had been rained out their NRR would be severely affected

Finch is a dumb shit, hit about 5 in the air that almost got caught and continues to bat the same way and gets out, this drop kick will never learn.
