A Union forum has managed to get this topic going before us, which is frankly an embarrassment to all the supposed supporters of international League here. So f**k it, I'll get the ball rolling and pull the info and graphics from TRF.

A lot of talk about the boys being sick all week here, but somehow that and the fact the Kiwis spanked us first up hasn't stopped the bookies putting us in as favourites.

I was in two minds when you lot played us, but these days, given the Kiwis have been pretty competitive with us and the fact that the All Blacks just belt the crap out of the Wallabies every year, I no longer want to see them win lol .

Can't have them winning trophies in both Rugby codes - it's just not right.

Very much looking forward to this one. Still don't think Walker is international standard and am a bit worried about all this virus crap, but barring another major stuff up we ought to better than last time

I think the aussies will really aim up this time and we could see a similar scoreline to the first game just in reverse. The worst thing the kiwis could actually do is to give Australia motivation which they did by winning so convincingly.

I expect DCE will have his best game of the tournament and inglis will run riot

Fingers crossed. I reckon DCE has looked pretty ordinary through most of the tournament to be honest ... Even against Samoa he looked a bit all at see a lot of the time (though he did score a great solo try).

To be honest I don't think the game has been thought of too much here in SE Qld. Work and bar discussions more about the G20 hoopla, the heatwave and which beach thou were headed too!

For the record, I think NZ will get up in a close one.

Re the comment about failure to kick off this thread. We'll you can't start them all !

( If final was in Bne tonight you'd need a drinks break every ten minutes !!!!)

I have to admit I'm a little disappointed that the interest has been so poor for this game. International League has been genuinely brilliant for the past few years, but people continue to denigrate it and carry on about state of origin in spite of the fact that in terms of titles the international game has been more competitive than origin over the past 10 years

I think scheduling has a lot to do with it.

Put a Four Nations / Test Series on June / July and Origin post season and I'd say it would a different situation.

Unfortunately for us International advocates, attention to RL ends on GF day here in Oz. At least for the majority.

Be interesting to compare crowds of 84, 88 and 92. Origin v GB Tests.

Lot of rework still to be done pre RLWC 2017 promoting springtime sport.

That was some half by the kiwis, some absolute cracking tries.

Too busy watching to post.

Hope the 2nd half is as good.
