It feels good to win our 4th tournament in 9 years and prove we are the best Rugby League nation on earth.

LOL @ Sheens saying he's never had one of his players say they're too tired to play for Australia. The whole lot of them are too tired to face us next year.

'our' ?

'we' ?

'us' ?

I didn't see you out there? Which one where you?

2005 - 3N (Kiwis)
2006 - 3N (Kangaroos)
2008 - WC (Kiwis)
2009 - 4N (Kangaroos)
2010 - 4N (Kiwis)
2011 - 4N (Kangaroos)
2013 - WC (Kangaroos)
2014 - 4N (Kiwis)

It's 4 each in that time frame.

Why do these post match comments always end up as a slanging match over individual incidents ?

We don't need outside influences to destroy the International game - so called international advocates are doing that job for us :(

It was a great game with the result in the balance till the final moments.

As for who didn't play in this series - well its not the opposition's concern or fault if players are unavailable.

With only one Test for oz in 2015 - competition between incumbents and those who were unavailable this year - will be very strong for the next 4N / RLWC.

( PS. Roos should be made to assist emerging nations in their "gap" year)

I understand the need to 'rest' but only one test next year? And from what Ive heard its going to be played in New Zealand.

Feels like we cant be bothered when it comes to promoting our national side or for that matter promoting the International game.

Its disappointing as I was looking forward to another International tournament.

Good game, but this entire series we've really looked way off-pace. Even the samoa game was a bit rough around the edges.

First up defence. Sheens talked before the tournament about defence being a key focus this year, but against the Kiwis at least I don't think I've seen an Australian team fall off so many tackles so meekly before in my life.

We played crap for most of the game again and the kiwis just bashed us up front... I know we were missing a lot of guys, but after we had our pants pulled down in the first game I kind of expected them to aim up and make amends. Perhaps as was pointed out above the boys were still suffering from that virus.

In terms of general tactics we just looked pretty poor again. DCE just hasn't looked up to standard this whole series and the options he's taken in good attacking positions have often been very ordinary. Please please come back JT.

Just in case anyone thought there was any doubt about that forward pass call.

Do one for the Ben Hunt try...

Conveniently overlooked.

The whistle has gone. NZ won, congrats to the Kiwis - they are a bloody good side.

Ps. I would gave disallowed Hunts try.

It's easy to generalise and RedVee has shown there are honest Australians just as there are total clowns and also wind up merchants, just like there are in England. It's good banter though ;-)

Perhaps this is borderline trolling, but for an alternative viewpoint (that I do not really go along with).

Australia has players that we can only dream of, a pool of hardened talent that is without comparison, more young people playing the game than anywhere else yet they still want everything in their favour.

Asking for home referees and an NRL refereeing system for internationals is ridiculous. It reminds me of when I was 9 and my older cousin (by 6 years) used to play me at snooker with his brand new Jimmy White cue and made me use a toy one without a tip. It is no wonder a lot of fans are bitter.

seriously the winner here is international rl- yes the aussies may have 100 potential kangaroos but they can only field 13 at a time, some fantastic games and rich quality entertainment has been served up in the 4 nations-thanks to all involved for a superb spectacle of sport.

Absolutely. :D If it wasn't tragic it would be funny. How any Aussie on here can defend Sheens and his cronies trying to bully other countries into having NRL (Aussie) refs and NRL interpretations for internationals is beyond me.
