Well here were are folks, a few days turn around for this 4th test

The Border Gavasker trophy all comes down to this

Will the indians play for a draw from the start?
Will Australia take a punt and play Krejza?
Will Harbhajan play or India blood another new spinner to support Mishra?

This and many more intriguing questions will be answered

Play starts Thursday Nov 6 - 3pm AEST

Australia by 3 wickets or 100 runs

Cheers

Krezja needs to play, Katich is the biggest turner of the ball in the side and should bowl more aswell.

If india play for the draw they will lose... but Dohni can not be that stupid can he?

Australia to win the toss, bat for 5 1/2 sessions (making 650) and putting india into bat, before taking 4 vital wickets before the end of play. Aussies to win withing 4 days, and will win by a innings or over 400 runs.

Lee to take 10 wickets in the match, Krezja to take 5. Clark will get some overdue luck, and Johnston will return to his crap form.

Ponting and Clarke to make massive centries in the first innings.

Haddin to take 6 dismisals in the first innings

clinical display by the aussies.

In: Siddle
Out: Clark

Even the biased NSW cheersquad thinks Siddle would be a good choice over Clark who clearly isnt fit

Clark bowled well, but was unaided on a dead pitch. Khan and Sharma went wickless in austrlias 180 overs of batting. Johnston only takes wickets because the indians have no respect for him, Clark economy showed he was difficult to play and could be ever so important in the last game.

Johnston can be replaced by Bollinger IMO, Doug will swing it anywhere in the word and would relay trouble the likes of Gambir and Gaga. Plus Doug would be more effective against the indian tail

Clark bowled better in the 2nd inns, but if he isn't fit then fair enough he shouldn't play. But if hes given the all clear then we need him to keep the pressure on from one end. Siddle strayed quite a bit during his test debut and when you have Lee and Johnson as the other bowlers you could be looking at 400 in one day.

White definitely has to go, Nagpur is meant to take more spin than the wicket we just played on so we need a guy that turns the ball. And we need a swing bowler which Johnson is providing. Hes gun barrel straight and doesn't look dangerous. Bollinger needs to come in.

they'll prepare another road where the draw is the likely result

keep in mind, India were favourites to win this series (and still are)

if it does end up being 1-1, it will go down as the biggest choke in history for india imo, considering our inexperienced attack on indian soil, a few debutants in the series and no penetrative spinner, well no front line spinner at all really. plus the umpiring has favoured the home team, as it always appears to do in any test series, except we havent had a cry and demand umpires be sacked like india have

biggest choke ever  your opinion doesn't really count for much does it - perhaps you should check the rankings again... and have a look at a few chokes from history (Indian and otherwise... the Ashes loss in England springs to mind, as does the series when Waugh's team lost after VVS and Dravid destroyed you).
