Last night's crowd at the MCG proved that it was a missed opportunity from tournament organisers not to hold this fixture at the MCG. Would've easily got 80k+.

Nevertheless, it will be great to watch todays game without all the blaring music in the background like there was during the BBL semi that was played infront of a packed Adelaide Oval. Going to be a great atmosphere today and undoubtedly one of the matchups of the World Cup

I made reference to this in the 2015 WORLD CUP discussion thread. 100% agree with you.

Ch9 will live to regret not showing other matches besides Australias at the end of the World Cup. They'll be missing out on another blockbuster next Sunday between India and South Africa at MCG, which is already expecting 70k+ at the game, yet will only be seen in Australia on Fox Sports. NOT...GOOD...ENOUGH. Both games, with proper promotion, would've rated well on FTA.

Cricket fans deserved much better than the crap treatment Ch9 are giving this tournament.

Regarding the game today, fantastic atmosphere, even watching it on a tv in the hotel. I can only imagine how it feels like to be there in Adelaide today. I would've definitely tried to buy tickets to this game had it been played in Sydney.
