series has already been decided but this match and the last one present wonderful opportunities for us to continue to experiment. Sri Lanka were better in the third ODI than the previous two and the absence of Amla and Kallis certainly helps them.

Malinga has been fantastic for them, he can't do everything, but their top order is very capable as well

What's the point of experimenting? The world cup doesn't matter much so why change the team?

Why even play this game - it's only for a trophy.

South Africa do care about the world cup, I was commenting that they care too much and some perspective that it it is kind of overhyped would help the side. ODIs are still a significant part of world cricket, it matters to do well in them etc.

I know part of their salaries were paid a few weeks ago when the ICC sort of intervened, but they still have not been paid all of what they are owed
