I thought we were chasing a 5/8 if we dont get one may be stue is happy with bird if he stays that is,or give aitken a go. You never know kent just might do a preston and supprise every one when noddy comes back and go to 5/8.

Lets hope Bird is gooooone. Then its between Aitken and Kent, I'd say Aitken wins the battle. With this in mind, Kent is a good footballer and it doesnt hurt to have some competition to get the best out of the players.

Attacking options worry me as kimmorly at 1st reciever all the time is easier to read than have a 5/8 on the other side of the ruck to take some pressure off him.

greg bird has copped a pasting on this forum on a regular basis, i cannot understand anyone questioning his footballing ability.

wonder boy aitken has had all season to impress , gets two cracks and then the flick!

bird was playing very well early on before his brain snap and was rushed back in aftera 10 week abscence.
his performance against penrith was excellent and he will be a very very good footballer...actually he already is!

it will be a dead set joke if he isnt with cronulla next year.

i stand by for the mandatory spray from the bird haters, i see you have already poisoned the minds of some posters with your vitriol.

Dykes is a quality 5/8 when he has a decent 1/2 back next to him, look when Mitch Healey was at the club u didnt hear much about Dykes, but as soon as Campbell was 1/2 he was on fire, the combinations, With Dykes and Noddy together who knows but my tip will be all good
