Being 26 nil down after 26 minutes is a pathetic indictment of the attitude of this team. They conceded every time Penrith got good ball, the Edwards try was inept. Failure to count numbers on a short side was under 10s stuff, the half jogging chase by 'leaders' was a disgrace. The video session should be cause for a genuine spray followed by consequences.... cant see it happening.

The coach talking about adversity was ridiculous. 26 nil down had nothing to do with adversity and everything to do with a delusional attitude.

I didnt see much of the game - was at the races so only went over every 20 mins or so to get a score.

Twice l went over:
- Nene drops it on a hitup in our 2nd set and they score a few tackles after.
- BHU drops it on a hitup and they score a few tackles after.

This highlights our attitude. The storm raiders game was littered with drop balls on a greasy night.
But sides dig in when a teamate spills it. Rally around. 1 set. Do not let them score off our mistake.

Yesterday stank of a disjointed team which thinks a teamates drop shouldn't mean they have to tackle.

I stopped watching at 10-0, you could just see there was no effort, they were completely lethargic and were not really trying.

Problem is it is an issue quite regularly with this team, only reason we don't get pumped by more is usually we get up for games v good teams and its the shit teams we have these bad performances against so they aren't good enough to put these sort of scores on the board.

The mention of adversity is so old. Every team has had adversity. The injury count since after iso is horrendous across the NRL. Storm and Warriors uprooted from families. St George have Mary How much more adverse can that be?

It's almost insulting and definitely embarrassing to trot that out.

Unfortunately I think Moylan is done. I doubt the guy will ever string together half a dozen games without issues (can I say that?) with his hamstrings. Either medically retire him or try to offload him elsewhere.

Tend to agree. A player doesn't miss that much football with recurrent soft tissue injuries without significant biomechanics issues. He is no longer suited to the physical demands of fullback.

Morris needs to plan for a post Moylan and Dugan fullback.
