OK, im going to throw the same rhetoric back in the face of those who questioned exactly the same thing during the league world cup
142-0. Todays game was a joke, pure and simple. It was not a test match. Doesn't it devalue the cap, to play against such minnows and still call it a test match?
Gordon Bray seemed embarrassed to read the score out at times. And i can't blame him. The IRB have to get serious. Its their premier event, how can they be prepared to let 142 drubbing continue? Its the 20 best teams in the world.
If union don't have enough quality teams to sustain interest, then they should consider a 10-12 team world cup. There are 8 teams there that are simply not up to standard
Thoughts? To be leading a test match game 69-0 at 1/2 time is farcical
