Heard a bloke on the bsb this morning thanking the poms for picking crane so we have another English cricketer we can all hate with a passion for the next ten years.

'You just want to punch his whingy little face pack to England' was his reasoning.

Haha. So true

Australia should just bat until They are all out. Hopefully it will be about lunch time tomorrow or later.

Just make the poms suffer and suffer. Who cares if it's another draw.

I agree, we dont want to bat last so keep batting

I dont get all who ha about Crane's no ball, its a simple rule, you overstep its a no ball, you have to draw the line some where and thats what the line is for

I checked the laws and it doesn't say anywhere you have to feel sorry for a hyped 20 year old debutant.

I love how some are crying it's so unfair that sections of the Sydney crowd were/are razzing him for his bail outs.

You'd think by the time you got to test level you wouldn't need to bail out over thirty times. Early nerves, sure...but not two days worth. You'd think you'd have your run up sorted too.

But hey, he's a leggie, let's fap. Imho he won't be out here in 4 years time and is another on the long list of Fifth Test debutants (from either side) we'll never hear of or see again.

yeh, I think Crane needs another barrier trial before the stewards let him bowl again

be interesting to see how many times he bailed out, he probabaly wasted about 2 or 3 overs in total over the period of a a whole day

Crane's run-up carry-on was ridiculous and would have been very distracting for the batsmen.

To me it was very unsportsmanlike and should warrant a fine.

Yep. The fine should be doubled for every time one of the English players laughed about it too.

I'm surprised none of the Aussie batsmen gave him a spray about it tbh.

Disagree. It wasn't gamesmanship, the poor kid has only just learned to walk, let alone run.

In truth, it seemed to me that he had lost all confidence in his run up rather than trying to put the Australians off.

The lad is still very much a wirk in progress.

The umpires needed to step in and say to the skipper, this bloke needs to sort it out or take him off. Some sort of pressure needed to be applied in the situation.

Apparently he is being coached by McGill. Didnt that knob used to do it all the time too?

The umpires don't step in when the 12th man is running onto the ground every with a drink or a set of gloves or for a chat, they're not going to do it for this.

Exactly.

But the hype and fap leading in to the test and by some in the commentary box was OTT.

Joe Root handled him poorly. Laughing from slip shows his maturity level. Umps are useless too.

Off topic but on a spin friendly dec and after getting a go in Perth and Melbourne, why the hell didnt Malan get a trundle yesterday?!?!? Another Root failing (and Smith would do the same).
