It's like watching a modern day Boon and Marsh. Boon playing strokes and Marsh taking the shine off the ball. Except Head is trying to be aggressive but even with a 3 tonne brick of a bat that is light as a feather on a newly laid state highway of a wicket can't hit it off the wicket

They're talking about the double century already. Just let the guy bat. It's not as easy as saying "he's got this many overs", fatigue both mentally and physically will come into it. Warner will keep going for as long as he can, the rest will take care of itself.

Today is the perfect day for a big one, flat pitch (a genuine road), perfect weather conditions and an attack and fielding team whose mind is on the way back to Karachi.

For sure, and if he's there at the end he'll have 200, but to bat like Warner does for close to 50 overs is a massive mental/physical test. 200 is definitely premature.

If he can get a second wind after that 120-140 area the adrenaline of 200 might get him there.
