Clarke probably needs a break from Test cricket. His natural attacking game will come to bare in the World Cup. Expecting a big series from him.

Khawaja looks so, so good. That six was crazy. It's not so much the shots he has played though. It's his defence and ball choice that has really impressed me. He looks efficient in his style and level headed in his play.

neither Collingwood or Anderson had to move an inch for those catches, the poms can do no wrong atm

I thought that was actually a pretty good shot from Clarke

he smoked it but it was in the air and straight to gully.

yeh I know, but a metre either side and it was 4

lucky Anderson didn't have to move, he's not really a gully fielder

Bad luck Uzi.

Don't discount how tough the conditions are out there today. Probably harder than Day 1 MCG. 250 will be a very good score here.

Katich can't be captain now. He should have been given it instead of punter, or even 2-3 years ago, but that's done now.

Really there are no captains in the Australian side. Watson and Clarke are jokers, and haddin would just be another classless punter type captains.

Feel for khawaja after that wicket. He has had zero support up the other end, with Watson never comfortable, Clarke terrible, and Hussey just block block blocking.

Nice little innings there from Khwaja it's just a shame he couldn't go on with it. That said i can see a long test future ahead of him and there'll be plenty more opportunities for bigger scores. Really like his technique which is very safe and solid, knows when to play and when to leave which most of the senior players of the team haven't done this series.

Bad luck to the young bloke. He got suckered by Swan there, he will learn from that. Definitely a good batsman, has he opened before? Has the best technique from all the hopefuls I have seen

Bad luck for Uzi there, showed what a talent he is in difficult conditions. Poor shot from Clarke, as Bradman used to say you can't get out caught hitting the ball along the ground.
