Sunshine and Hughes to bat till after lunch I reckon, looking very solid and more importantly determined. It paves the way for Khawaja to come in and kickstart his career with a possible test ton

Watson looks the more likely to get out IMO. Jumping about, not getting good bat on ball and had a few nicks and chances already.

Looks like just his usual jitters though so given we've just had drinks those may now be gone and England have hopefully missed their chance to get him out early.

Hughes looking very tidy today... very compact and playing straight. Good to see.

Let's just hope he can survive the dangers of partnering Sunshine... I'm still waiting for the selfish pr*ck to murder him again.

Hughes looking good, this is where he normally gets out.

He has defo worked on his technique.

I like the way they are both being much more patient this morning.

Hughes looks good out there. With maturity and experience he will gain much more patience and better shot selection. And he is showing that patience today. Also noticed he has played much straighter today.

I am still nervous that he will get out undoing all his good work this morning.

Watson has looked scratchy out there, not at all comfortable. But he hasn't lost his wicket.

Good 50 run partnership.

I wish Punter would get out of the change rooms... I hope he is thinking I need to retire...
