I've always wanted to go to Punchbowl, see what all the fuss is about.
I'd love to go to Normandy. Definitely on my to-do list.
It was very cool. Pont Du Hoc hasnt been touched since 1944. Tonnes of craters and miles of bunker networks to explore. A must for any WWII buff.
The Gold, Sword, Juno, Utah and Omaha beaches are a bit meh but just seeing those places with so much history is a worthwhile venture.
I feel like a tourist in my own country when i walk through there sometimes.
Plant a prosthetic arm near some kids, and when they dig it up and start screaming, run over (with arm hidden in shirt) and claim it as yoursAre you able to actually go swim in the water? I want to do my own landing on one of the beaches.

Yeah you can, all the beaches have little summer houses and stuff near them. Its quite surreal considering what happened there 60 odd years ago.
I recommend going to the American Cemetery too. The scale of the place is pretty overwhelming.
Have you ever thought about joining the army Martli ?
