Exactly, and both games were in the same boat:

2 Sydney teams, nothing to play for in both games..home teams farewelling some of their greats...

Bandwagoners have jumped off and they obviously couldn't give a stuff about Ricketson, it seems.

Just shows you that the Roosters have by far the most bandwagon supporters in league!

Just shows how monotonously boring you all are.

The fact is that if the Roosters were in the 8, the crowd would have been a minimum of 25,000 but becuase the Roosters are not winning the "supporters" decide to sip latte's and not bother going! Real suppoters:lol:

the crowd was about right

No I wasn't, but it was plain obvious watching the game on Fox that the stadium was not 1/5 full. Cameras dont tell lie :^o

But they do, the camera's face the eastern side, the members area and season ticket holders sit on the western side. So to judge a crowd based on what you see on TV is completely ignorant.. I was at the game but missed the crowd posting.. It looked about 8000 to me..

Even if it was that amount surely it should've been much more to farewell a loyal player like Ricko

If all of those whinging about it were at the game there must have been 25,000. If they weren't then they have absolutely no idea how big the crowd was. When the cameras went to the other side at full time it looked like a pretty big crowd. Anybody who has been to the SFS in the rain knows it's the worst ground in the country to watch football at in those circumstances. Apart from the fact it's the club's first dead rubber in a decade, that it was Father's Day and our opponents had less starch and even less to play for.

The Rooster haters here had better enjoy themselves. It's taken them ten years to be able to criticise the on-field performance. Facts and figures mean nothing to the chattering bastard sons of rleague.com. Keep it up. We enjoy it. And remember, what you reap you sow... Next year is another year, and if this year's crop of one-season wonders start to falter, expect a return of fire... with interest.
