With Parra's lack of form over the last two seasons, as well as the well publicised dislike of the coach, I worry mainly about these things:
1) If you were a half decent player, you'd go somewhere else. (Thank God Hindy and Cayless have another year on contract)
2) If you were a half decent player you probably wouldn't want to play at Parra.
In years gone past we've ended up paying second rate players way over their value to attract them to the eels.
Someone pointed out in another thread that the last three premiership winners came about after a change in coaching staff. Time to go BS.
Problem is Denis Fitz has dug a hole he can't get out of. He paid a coach too much and to sign him for so long is unprecedented and senseless. That's why we continually hear Denis defending the coach. He's not actually defending Brian, he's defending his own stupidity. To pay out Brian and get a new coach would cost around $1 000 000. Not even a successful club like Parra could afford to throw that kind of money away. They have to account for every dollar like any other business.
We need a winning culture. Brian and Dennis can't do it. Nor can a team full of premier league players expect to win the comp.
