A Fifita to Dogs

Heard this rumour Fifita has signed with the Dogs for next year and that is why Sheens has snubbed him. f**ked if true.

Fifita IS on the outer at the Tigers, mainly due to his attitude to training and hard work.

There is no denying he is a quality player with untapped, enormous potential.

However, just like Daine Laurie, if you don't work and be part of the team regarding training and working as a unit.

You are gone.

But I do not know if he has signed elsewhere though.

It says on another site that he is signed until 2011, surely they won't release him a year early with that much talent that he has, it was Fifita who had the run in with Benji at pre season training and came to blows, maybe things aren't as good as we had hoped for. I suppose in retrospect we all were wondering why he got so little time against the roosters and his attitude maybe why. Big big loss, Teo, Harrison, and maybe Fifita.

I'd love to know what substantiates the rumour he's going to Canterbury

Timothy, a rumour doesn't need substance.

I heard a rumour you fellate goats.

I don't need proof or evidence, don't stop it from being a rumour though, does it.

I reckon that if you are 18th man for the all conquering QLD side you must have some ability, granted he probably bludged on the Tigers as he knew he was leaving but you cant say he isn't a loss.

I thought the rumour was about D Fifita or is this another rumour.

I hope we don't lose him because he will be a great player.

What is it with sheens not liking any of our impact forwards and them going elsewhere, Harrison, Teo (although I'm not to fussed on this one) and if this is true then Fifita aswell.

It is not like we a blessed with loads of quality impact forwards. He have some very good forwards but they are all workers

Only players with options on thier contracts for next season that have featured in the NRL for the tigers this season are j. moors and flanagan

Everyone else is signed untill the end of next season of beyond.

But we have a sh*tload comming off contract next season

The club will not let Andrew go anywhere. He is one of the most talented young props in the game. He will not get a free pass in our top 17 unless he deserves it. Look I bag Sheens a lot but in this case I agree with him, if a guy doesn't put in off the field, don't play them. Hopefully they will get the message.

Teo was great at the tigers when we were well ahead in a game. His attitude to defence left a lot to be desired. Still think even at the Broncos he is suspect in defence.

I don't see him as a loss because in Dwyer and Murdoch-Masila we have 2 back-rowers with in my opinion far greater potential than Teo.

Sheens and the coaching staff are trying to instill the right work ethics in Fifita so he can progress from a real promising rookie into a seasoned pro. Now if he is not prepared to do the hard yards like the other guys well its time to send him packing contract or no contract. The old story no one is bigger than the team.I just dont get it, with so many role models within the team to follow you would think it would be easy. Anyway I hope he gets the message and puts in the yards and some more but if he dosnt their is always another player who will

Teo was not a loss in the same way Harrisson was not a loss. For whatever reason neither player was going to achieve their full potential at Wests Tigers. Teo's attitude was rubbish once he got involved in the nuts and bolts of contract talks and it took a complete uprooting, starting again and being dropped to Qld Cup a few times before he really sorted himself out.

Harrisson did not fit the mould of what Sheens wanted from a backrower. He saw him as a mobile prop. Since going to Canberra he has trimmed down and really improved his defence and has become a leader in the side.

Whilst each may go on to make alot of their careers I would class neither as a great loss because both needed to leave to start to realise their potential

Wouldn't run at forwards, wouldn't tackle, no lateral movement, rarely ever offloaded, pissweak 1 on 1 defender.

But sure westie, I'll wait til he plays for Australia before I admit that I'm wrong.

You can hold me to that.
