Just a quick word to say what a glorious day it was yesterday. Great to meet some of the other Cronulla Sharkies family. Next year it WILL be BIGGER and BETTER than this years was!!!

I am telling this TRUE story with the approval of those who were involved at the time.

When Dean Treister had just come back from Hull, Deano and a few mates were in the car heading out for a good night.

As the boys were happily driving along they came up to a RBT station. So as Deano pulled up, the officer asked Deano to show his licence to the Officer.

The Officer was looking at Deano's address on his Licence and asked " Are you still at Cronulla Mr Triester?"

And in typical Triester fashion he reply with a Fatty Vautin head wobble was "Nah Mate, I'm retired now"

The 'warm up' match was between 2 high schools fielding womens teams. This is NO gag. I piped up with this clanger:
" Ya run like a girl!"
And so started the day!!!

The chant went up to the tune of 'In the Navy'

To the security guard/event staff when told us to quieten down (following on to which I had to quieten down Mrs. Not at all Horrible who was absolutely livid!!!)

You're kidding. Try it on little man and I'll go and support marbles. Then SHARKIE SHARKIE SHARKIE oi oi oi !!!! Didn't hear to much after that but gave em another serve as we were leaving following our mighty victory!!!
