To the best of my knowledge nothing has been publicly said about Nikorima nor Copley on this matter and any prospective censure.

Still investigating as far as I know. I doubt he'll be sanctioned too heavily being a rookie, impressionable and our only option to partner Hastings in the halves. Same with Copely, fines and warnings I'd say.

Back on Pearce, was talking about him and this incident with a head doctor friend of ours and she asked an interesting question, was their an element of purpose to what Pearce did?

Pearce has always played second fiddle to his halves partners since he made grade, Anasta, Carney and Maloney, but coming into 2016 Pearce was to be the dominant partner. Did that prospect put too much pressure on him coulped with already being the captain and he cracked?

I know the kid is mentally tough, you don't play number 7 for NSW and have a thin skin, but everyone has a breaking point. Has Mitch reached his?

Word doing the rounds on radio this morning is that the NRL Integrity Unit have close the books on investigating either Nikorima or Copley as they found that whilst present whilst Pearce "did his thing" there was no evidence to suggest they did anything wrong (in so far as the NRL are concerned that is).
