Looks interesting - there are a few in that list that aren't metal but I can understand why most people think they are.

Look forward to seeing it, particularly his trip to Norway to see Emperor etc.

Eh? Dickinson, Iommi, Dio not decent??? These men are legends of metal.

A mate saw the doco, said it was good but not great. I'll be watching it for Geddy Lee & Voivod.

Tony Iommi, Dee Snider, Slayer, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Vince Neil, Bruce Dickinson, Ronnie James Dio, Cannibal Corpse, Lemmy, Geddy Lee, Enslaved, Emperor, Voivod, Mayhem, Gorgoroth.

Nothing wrong with those.

Not sure why Slipknot, Korn or Kitty are on there though. Disgraceful.

Film's producers: "Hey record label guy, we want to use Crue, Maiden, Sabbath and Motorhead tracks in our film about metal. Will you give us permission to use them?"
Label guy: "Sure, but we want you to include some stuff by the acts we're pushing to the kids right now"
Film producers: "Sure, who are they?"
Label guy: "Slipknot, Korn and Kittie"
Film producer: "No way, they suck dog balls!"
Label guy: "Fine, no Crue, Maiden, or Sabbath for you!"
Film producer: "c#@t."

Saw this on the weekend at the Sydney Film Festival, really enjoyed it, as did my missus (who's not a metalhead). Highlights:

Ronnie James Dio taking the piss out of Gene Simmons
Dee Snyder testifying to US Congress (smart, funny dude)
Gaahl from Gorgoroth playing the "evil satanist" role to the hilt
Mayhem being interviewed at Wacken drunk off their heads

Good cross-section of artists and the vast majority come across as very well spoken and articulate. Well wworth watching.
