Heard A .johns made a comment that if he was selecting this years S.O.O team he would make seven changes with rookies...but no James Tedesco! Seriously is he for real? Has he not watched any games this year besides his beloved Newcastle & Manly! Is he still on Something ? Please don't let this bloke have anything to do with picking the team!:crazy::crazy:

He said he couldn't split Tedesco or Dugan.
He picked Dugan in his side eventually but was 50/50 between the 2 of them, which is fair enough.

Fair enough, but if you were picking 7 rookies surly he's one of them! Dugan hasn't actually been setting the world on fire & can play centre.

Dugan is the incumbent soo fullback & he has been saints best player so he should get picked ahead of teddy even though I wouldn't swap teddy for anyone.

Obviously I'd prefer teddy to play no rep footy this yr coz we r f**ked w/out him.He is that far ahead of the next best @ our club its embarrasing.W/out him we would most likely be winless & w/out farah's persuasion skills to entice teddy to remain with us we'd very likely collect successive wooden spoons.

Who cares. If Tedesco doesn't play origin that is probably good for us.

I know what you mean. If he plays then we will have 3 key players out for Origin. It shocks me that we have 3 origin level players and still suck at winning games

We are a mess with them so nothing much will change . We may even improve because currently the team seems happy to rely on Teddy to much.

John's is on drugs, he had the young manly winger Tom T on the wing in the origin side and the kid (with heaps of potential) is barely a 1st grader, at the moment.

Any club that allow John's to tutor their halves seemingly go backwards. How is this tool supposedly an immortal?

Because being an average coach doesn't disqualify you as a great player

DCE has gone backwards since his work with Johns, not during. Not Joeys fault DCE was so offside with his teammates.

They'll pick Dugan at fullback because he's one of those tough, experienced Origin players - and it will see them go 1-10 in the past 11 years.

The NSW team needs a full clean out, starting with the backrow and spine. Until that happens, its hard to follow them with any enthusiasm.

Dugan got the NSW SOO player of the year last year so it would be a bit harsh if he didn't get first crack at FB,sooner or later Ted will be there though.

It comes down to our squad not being that bad. Woods and Farah though are nowhere near the level of Tedesco though.

Those 3 r easily our best players.Ive been pleasantly satisfied with our forwards against parra & Cronulla. What has hurt us has been the appalling form of our halves. If we had halves who had the nous to make the obvious decisions re passing & kicking I'm very certain we would've won the last 2 games.Have a look @ how intelligent sezer & Austin were tonite. We released Austin who was on lunch money to sign the 2 upstarts on Monopoly money based on mythical potential & with a coach who is an ex half they continue to make moronic blunders that constantly put us on the back foot.

I would never have released Austin. He is a great player. I still think Brooks and Moses may turn into really good players but at the moment they aren't performing well enough. You are right in that it is their decision making that is the problem as well.
