Three derbys this weekend, should be a cracker of a weekend.

the only derby with 2 teams remotely in form is the qld one

the other 2 feature teams playing very ordinary

roar
adelaide
victory
draw
glory

perth and brisbane 2 standout teams so far

the others really have played some mediocre football

Adelaide had their moments the other night, and they're working a lot of new players into their line-up. They'll play good football this season.

My tips:

Roar
Adelaide
draw
draw
Glory

Sydney finally get a win... Victory sitting idle with two draws, a loss and no goals.

Looking forward to the F3 derby tonight.

Great to finally get a win over the Coasties - two years to the day since we last beat the merkins :fist:

Jeffers should bring a certain element of class into the front third, we should have probably won the game 3 or 4-1 with the amount of chances we created - especially in the first half. Zadkovich and Kantarovski were probably the two best on the park for us, with Wehrman, Brockie and Griffiths not too far behind.

Great to see some of the attacking, free-flowing football (in stages anyway) that we know the Jets are capable of, even if it didn't result in as many goals as I would have liked. But still, three rounds in, a bit of uncertainty surrounding the coaching situation which has now been settled and we're sitting in third spot with two wins and a loss.

Oh and the crowd today was outstanding - nearly 14,500 which is an improvement on the 12,500 at the first home game. Good to hear the crowd get involved especially in the last few minutes when the boys were out on their feet.

If only we could play TWO good halves of football. Ibini really needs a full 90 too. Amini should be back on Saturday. Fingers crossed. Well done Jets.
