A true legend of the club and the game. So glad that the last thing he ever did on a footy field was score a try. Very fitting.

Nice touch by Souffs too with the guard of honour at the end. Classy stuff.

Farewell and thank you Mini. You'll be remembered forever.

Well said HH, I thought that was a great touch by souths with the guard of honour. They could easily have been caught up in the emotions of qualifying for the big one, but too their credit they showed plenty of class.

Thank you Mini for a wonderful career, One of the all time greats of our club.

What would be your guys top 17 for next year? I'd go

1. Blake Ferguson
2. Daniel Tupou
3. Michael Jennings
4. Shaun Kenny Dowall
5. Roger Tuivasa Sheck
6. James Maloney
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Sam Moa
9. Jake Friend
10. Dylan Napa
11. Boyd Cordner
12. Willis Meehan
13. Aidan Guerra

14. Kane Evans
15. Frank-Paul Nuuausala
16. Mitch Aubusson
17. Jackson Hastings

Not a fan of Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. He's a complete idiot who gives away stupid penalties at crucial moments. But can't argue if he's there.

Post your team.

Hard to believe Mini wont be playing next year, farewell to my favourite player of all time.

As for next year, I think we'll go:

1. RTS
2. Tupou
3. Jenko
4. Fergo
5. SKD
6. Maloney
7. Pearce
8. JWH
9. Friend
10. Napa/Moa
11. Cordner
12. Aubusson
13. Guerra

14. Hastings
15. Moa/Napa
16. Evans/Liu
17. Meehan/Liu

Jared can do some dumb shit on the field but he's still a fantastic player and our spiritual leader, he started very well against Souffs. Fergo could probably play FB but Roger will definitley be there next year and he will excel IMO. Our bench will be hard to pick, Hastings is most likely being groomed for the 6 in 2016 so a utility role next year would be very beneficial however one thing we lacked this year was grittiness and toughness, so four big forwards could be the way to go. If a back went down Aubo could fill in.

What about Frank Paul? Jared is f**king moron, he started well then gave a bunch of stupid penalties away which actually started Souths momentum. I'm glad the Stephen Kearney had the brains to f**k him off. Agree with Hastings and yeah I could see an argument for RTS being at the back but I think Fergo would be better there because it would provide a better flow to the team, SKD isn't a natural winger. But you could drop him altogether and maybe put Nene McDonald on that wing?

SKD actually plays his best football on the wing. His kick returns are fantastic. I believe he himself has said that he prefers the wing.

Come round 1 I believe the team will be:

1. RTS
2. Tupou
3. Jennings
4. Ferguson
5. SKD
6. Maloney
7. Pearce
8. JWH
9. Friend
10. Moa
11. Cordner
12. Aubusson
13. Guerra

14. Napa
15. Liu
16. FPN
17. Hastings

18. Evans
19. Leuluai
20. Meehan
21. Macdonald

That's not necessarily what I would have; rather what I think the team will be. The only conjecture will be over whether or not Robbo wants to use Hastings as the utility or if he'll stick with Aubusson and give a young gun like Leuluai a shot in the backrow.

No doubt he has good kick returns, he's a centre but does he have the pace to capitalise on the space that Fergo would create for him? Also I'd be shocked if Kane Evans can't get a spot in the 17 next year, if he can't he needs to leave for the sake of his development.

Absolute legend. Hope to see him stick around the game in some capacity. I heard the roosters have given him a job.

It is hard to believe it is all over. That Mini has played his last full NRL game for the Roosters. A class player and a class human being. I will miss seeing him on the field :(

Also nice touch by the Souths players forming a guard of honour for Mini.
