Only took us 27 weeks.
Or longer.
But we've finally figured out our game.
We perfected it last week and won .
We struggled at times to replicate it last night - It was there at times, we went away from it, but then found it with 20 to go.
We are a team that is hardest to beat when we make it a forward battle.
If we start shifting it or allow our halfback to start his sideways bullshit we get frustrated. We go to shit.
We try to be something we ain't.

All the experts tipped roosters last night.
After the game same experts said both teams were shit.
Said it wasnt a high level game and we will have to improve to beat anyone else.
The experts can go and get farked.
Bring on the boredom.
Because we know how to win. We have the formula and if it doesn't involve reece- like 90 metre solo tries or sweeping backline move then suck a dick Cronk.

We have become a gang of guys just getting off the line in numbers and playing tough. Determined to defend their line. And carting the ball up relentlessly.
Simples.
This was typified that when we needed a winning play.
We found it with Toby morphing Feefs and going through the front door.
Straight over the top of their captain. Teddy the superhero.
f**k off Teddy. - Something to really whine about there.
At that point we didn't go to Nicho.
We didn't throw it through 10 sets of hands.

Shame our game doesn't excited the experts like anasta who watched both his sides get beat this weekend.
Boofarkinghoo.

I've been banging on about mcplod all year.
He was an anchor.
Reserve grade written all over him.
I called it 3 weeks ago when he got snipered we would take off and well, sorry cap but I hope I never see you again.

Nicho apologists turn away.
Firstly, his defence is bloody good.
Secondly, he ran harder last night then he has since getting injured last year.
Thirdly, he wont win us a finals game but I fear he could lose us one.
Man, he has a mistake in him.
He is a terrible dummy half. Slow and sprays them.
He slows everything down. We are rolling at times and he gets his hands on it and takes us sideways.
In a dawdle.
Last week it was less nicho is better and at time last night thay was the case.
Tobys try case in point.
Brayley - undefeated as captain by the way - just simple pass to a hard running guy who goes over 5 of them.
Simples.
That's our game.

The dogs of the 80s who won by winning the fight. Tunks. Cement. Folkes. Langmack. Dunn. This allowed Steve mortimer and lamb to run riot. Turvey created off the back of this and lamb was known as the best support player in the game.
I loaded up a highlights reel about a month ago showing Trickys running game when he played with the 7 on his back.
He showed last night he has a running game. Next year Id like to see him wear it and the other guy become the best support player in the comp.

Moving forward.
4 boppers on the bench.
Win ugly.
Defence wins big games.
Pressure is off. Winning the first week is harder than the 2nd. Playing a losing side is better than a winning one - they're suddenly faced with sudden death while we dont fear it now.
Melbourne is the easier Prelim for us
We won't meet Clearys boys til the GF.

Next week the only change I’d make is Hazleton for Kaufusi.

As you state we are taking an attacking the middle with the forwards into the Semi’s. That’s our strength over most of the teams we’re up against. Most will not enjoy it.

let’s faking go!

Hynes may not have been the greatest last night but he was better than sam walker, and he made 26 tackles missed 1.

Defence is what has won us the last 2 .
Hynes defence was very good. He was strong in contact and communicated well to keep the edge connected.

His long kicking was ordinary and running was tentative. Other spine players got their jobs done in attack which meant the unit got the job done. Hopefully, he goes to another level next week.

I'm going to address this, and I'm not an apologist, I just have a different way of seeing what went on.
I too wondered why he was doing all these hit ups for what looked like not much.
But after watching the game many times I realised it was a plan, it had to be as it happened so many times, and it happened bugger all last week.
This opened up to middle players to play link men, but in the same focus the Roosters did not know this, they thought they'd be running straight and hard.
In turn this made the inner defenders move in and then Tricky had space to create.
Look at last week against the Dogs.
Hynes created every try.
He created none this week by the naked eye, and all the commentators are again saying how Trindall is the man.
Their defence got caught in two minds in both the Ronaldo tries because of the work that had been done in the inner lanes.
The coaches tactics are way deeper than what either you and I can fathom.
They worked.

Trent Robinson was filthy after the game, he'd been out-coached by his apprentice.

Tedesco is an unlikeable mutt. Whinges about everything and is always in the ref’s face - he’s no better than Moses or Gutho in that regard. It was a sweet, sweet victory and it feels amazing to send that fraudulent coach Robinson packing for the summer holidays. See ya next year beetroot head.
